The duties of the Commissioner for Intercultural and Religious Affairs include creating an open and transparent atmosphere on the basis of joint discussions, sensitising people for intercultural and religious issues and at the same time creating the framework conditions for integration.
On the one hand, Professor Terlau is the contact person for both students and employees at the University; on the other hand, she is responsible for dealing with important representatives outside the University, such as the clergy and international representatives. Here she can make use of synergies in her additional capacity as Vice-President for Internationalisation and International Cooperation.
